What would Marja have heard here?

I just read the weblog by Marja Verstelle. She is present at the ELI 2007 annual meeting, as far as I understood. I wonder what she picked up at this presentation:

EDUCAUSE | ELI 2007 Annual Meeting | Father Google and Mother IM: Confessions of a Net Gen Learner

Ofcourse, if others want to fill in here, that's fine with me.

Hi Wytze, I didn't attend that session, unfortunately, because it was great from what I've heard.
The good thing is that the podcasts are being posted very rapidly now ny the organisation. So check out on http://connect.educause.edu/term_view/ELI2007, or take the feed, it will be there soon to listen to.

Hi Wytze did you find the interview with this student, Carie Windham, allready?

Some interesting remarks are:
- I don't know if I like my teacher to come into our networking spaces like Facebook
- examples of new tech application in education she likes is when it adds to the class subject, and does not give the feeling of something extra to do
- let us be creative: make a podcast or website, but do not prescribe to much, give space for creativity.
- we do not like groupwork where one does the work and the rest is not involved really) but we do like to collaborate

The slides of her actual presentation are here, they are absolutely worthwhile even without audiorecording: http://www.educause.edu/LibraryDetailPage/666?ID=ELI07105
As I said in my former comment which seems to get lost: those who attended her presentation where very positive!
